October 5, 2024: Lake Arthur, NM 88253 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Lake Arthur Panthers (Lake Arthur, NM) and the visiting Wagon Mound Trojans (Wagon Mound, NM), observed Lake Arthur's volleyball team top Wagon Mound by a count of 3-0.
The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against San Jon (San Jon, NM). The Coyotes enter the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, San Jon notched a victory over Floyd (Floyd, NM), 3-2, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Trojans battle the Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM) in a 1A District 5 contest, on Monday, October 7. Wagon Mound will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 9-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over San Jon (San Jon, NM).
