With the win, Webster City advances its record to 13-8 on the season. The Lynx travel to Humboldt (Humboldt, IA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Monday, October 7. The Tigers now sport a 1-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Des Moines Christian for a test on Tuesday, October 8. Madrid will face a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Lions record now stands at 17-10.
