Alabama High School Football - Hooper Academy defeats Sparta Academy
October 6, 2022: Hope Hull, AL 28859 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Hooper Academy Colts football squad scored a good 72-50 victory over the Sparta Academy Warriors.
In their next game, the Colts clash with the Edgewood Academy Wildcats (Elmore, AL) in a AISA AA Region I match, on Friday, October 14. Hooper Academy will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 3-4 record after their 35-34 league win over Macon-East Montgomery Academy (Cecil, AL).
The Warriors (0-8) will now prepare for their match against South Choctaw Academy (Toxey, AL). The Rebels enter the AISA A Region II match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, South Choctaw Academy ran past Wilcox Academy (Camden, AL), 22-14, in a league match.
