The Lafayette Rams walloped the visiting Smithfield Packers football team by a count of 48-6 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Lafayette upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Rams host King William (King William, VA) to encounter the Cavaliers in a non-league outing on Friday, October 14. The Cavaliers go into the outing with a record of 5-2. King William lost 28-7 in their recent non-league outing against Norcom (Portsmouth, VA)
