North Carolina High School Football - East Wake felled by Hunt
October 6, 2022: Wendell, NC 27591 In Thursday's non-league game, the Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) football team were victorious over the host East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC), by a score of 24-12.
The Warriors (5-2) will now prepare for their game against South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC). The Trojans come into the non-league game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, South Johnston knocked off Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC), 20-0, in a non-league game.
The Warriors now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fike for a non-league game on Thursday, October 13. East Wake will battle a Demons team coming off a 39-6 non-league loss to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Demons record now stands at 2-5.
