October 6, 2022: Rockingham, NC 28380 The Union Pines Vikings football team (Cameron, NC), was ripped 41-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC)
The Raiders (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Lee County was ripped by Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC), 24-23, in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hoke County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 13. Union Pines will meet a Bucks team coming off a 36-0 non-league win over Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Bucks record now stands at 2-5.
