October 6, 2022: Independence, KS 67301 Independence Bulldogs (Independence, KS) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Rose Hill Rockets (Rose Hill, KS), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Fort Scott Tigers (Fort Scott, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 10. Independence will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Chanute (Chanute, KS).
The Rockets now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 8. Rose Hill will face a Golden Buffalo team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over North (Wichita, KS). The Golden Buffalo record now stands at 7-7.
