New Mexico High School Volleyball - Mora over Penasco
October 6, 2022: Penasco, NM 87553 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Mora Rangers/Rangerettes (Mora, NM) and the host Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM), saw Mora's volleyball squad beat Penasco by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Mora upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Rangers/Rangerettes travel to Questa (Questa, NM) to play the Wildcats in a 2A District 5 bout on Saturday, October 8. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 5-8. Questa lost 3-1 in their recent league game against Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM)
The Panthers (4-6) will now prepare for their game against McCurdy (Espanola, NM). The Bobcats enter the 2A District 5 game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, McCurdy dropped by Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM), 3-0, in a league game.
