The East Tigers (Columbus, OH) football edged the visiting Beechcroft Cougars (Columbus, OH), 22-16 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Centennial Stars (Columbus, OH) in a Columbus City - North bout, on Thursday, October 12. East will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Stars enter the bout with a 1-7 record after their 34-28 non-league loss to KIPP Columbus (Columbus, OH).
