In their next game, the Sandcrabs face the Pleasanton Eagles (Pleasanton, TX) in a 4A-1 Region IV District 15 bout, on Friday, October 13. Calhoun will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 36-28 league loss to Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX).

The Bears (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Floresville (Floresville, TX). The Tigers enter the 4A-1 Region IV District 15 bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Floresville was nudged by Jones (Beeville, TX), 45-14, in a league bout.
