The Carver Birmingham Rams football team (Birmingham, AL), was knocked off 70-52 in Friday's league challenge with the host Fairfield Tigers (Fairfield, AL)

The Tigers (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, AL). The Spartans come into the 5A Region 5 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Pleasant Grove knocked off John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL), 37-12, in a league challenge.

The Rams now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jasper for a 5A Region 5 challenge on Friday, October 13. Carver Birmingham will meet a Vikings team coming off a 18-13 league loss to Hayden (Hayden, AL). The Vikings record now stands at 0-6.
