The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Valley Head Tigers (Valley Head, AL) and the host Cedar Bluff Tigers (Cedar Bluff, AL), observed Valley Head's football squad thwart Cedar Bluff by a count of 44-20.

The Tigers now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Appalachian for a 1A Region 7 contest on Friday, October 13. Valley Head will play a Eagles squad coming off a 22-7 league loss to Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (Decatur, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
