The Riverhead Blue Waves football squad scored 24 points and limited the host Central Islip Musketeers to 19 in the Blue Waves league win on Friday.

The Blue Waves now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Brentwood for a Section 11 Division I battle on Saturday, October 14. Riverhead will play a Indians squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Bay Shore (Bay Shore, NY). The Indians record now stands at 1-4.

Coming up next, the Musketeers play the Lindenhurst Bulldogs (Lindenhurst, NY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 14. Central Islip will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record.
