Texas High School Football - Cuero trounces Giddings

In Friday's league match, the host Cuero Gobblers football squad scored a big 55-14 victory over the Giddings Buffaloes.

In their next game, the Gobblers face the Gonzales Apaches (Gonzales, TX) in a 4A-2 Region III District 12 bout, on Friday, October 13. Cuero will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Apaches enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 56-7 league win over Caldwell (Caldwell, TX).

The Buffaloes (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Smithville (Smithville, TX). The Tigers enter the 4A-2 Region III District 12 bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Smithville was overwhelmed by La Grange (La Grange, TX), 36-21, in a league bout.
