The Decatur Golden Gators football squad scored 41 points and restricted the host Mt. Rainier Rams to 7 in the Golden Gators league victory on Friday.

The Golden Gators now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kentwood for a 4A North Puget Sound battle on Saturday, October 14. Decatur will play a Conquerors squad coming off a 56-0 non-league loss to Skyview (Vancouver, WA). The Conquerors record now stands at 2-4.

Coming up next, the Rams play the Federal Way Eagles (Federal Way, WA) in a 4A North Puget Sound battle, on Thursday, October 12. Mt. Rainier will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 42-20 league loss to Tahoma (Maple Valley, WA).
