In Friday's league match, the visiting Northwest Raiders football squad scored a close 37-35 victory over the Iota Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Church Point Bears (Church Point, LA) in a 3A District 4 match, on Friday, October 13. Northwest will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 50-12 league win over Port Barre (Port Barre, LA).
