The Manalapan Braves held off the visiting Point Pleasant Boro Panthers football team by a count of 24-23 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Manalapan upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Braves travel to Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ) to confront the Bucs in a Shore - Colonial outing on Friday, October 20. The Bucs go into the outing with a record of 1-5.

With the loss, Point Pleasant Boro moves to 5-1 on the season. The Panthers host Matawan Regional (Aberdeen, NJ) to confront the Huskies in a non-league outing on Friday, October 13.
