The South Atlanta Hornets (Atlanta, GA) football edged the visiting Mount Paran Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA), 28-25 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Hornets face the North Cobb Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA) in a AA Region 6 bout, on Friday, October 13. South Atlanta will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 29-10 league win over KIPP Atlanta Collegiate (Atlanta, GA).
