The Superior Central Cougars football team (Eben Junction, MI), was ripped 60-8 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host North Central Jets (Powers, MI)

The Jets (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Norway (Norway, MI). The Knights come into the Great Lakes - West (8 Man) challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Norway was ripped by Pickford (Pickford, MI), 40-18, in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host Engadine for a Great Lakes - East (8 Man) challenge on Saturday, October 14. Superior Central will meet a Eagles team coming off a 42-20 non-league win over Bellaire (Bellaire, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
