The Palmyra Cougars football team (Palmyra, PA), was beaten 24-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Red Land Patriots (Lewisberry, PA)

The Patriots (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, PA). The Crusaders come into the Mid-Penn - Keystone challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Bishop McDevitt achieved victory over Hershey (Hershey, PA), 42-7, in a league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Cedar Cliff for a Mid-Penn - Keystone challenge on Friday, October 13. Palmyra will meet a Colts team coming off a 21-16 league win over Lower Dauphin (Hummelstown, PA). The Colts record now stands at 6-1.
