October 6, 2023: Halfway, OR 97834 The Wallowa Cougars football squad scored 65 points and restricted the host Pine Eagle Spartans to 6 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.
The Cougars now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harper for a 1A Special District 1 (6 Man) battle on Friday, October 13. Wallowa will play a Hornets squad coming off a 22-19 league loss to Joseph (Joseph, OR). The Hornets record now stands at 5-1.
Coming up next, the Spartans play the Jordan Valley Mustangs (Jordan Valley, OR) in a 1A Special District 1 (6 Man) battle, on Tuesday, October 10.
