Riesel Indians (Riesel, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Valley Mills Eagles (Valley Mills, TX), 29-19 in a league test.

With the triumph, Riesel improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Indians host Marlin (Marlin, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a 2A-1 Region II District 8 test on Friday, October 13. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 4-2. Marlin won 33-30 in their recent league test against Crawford (Crawford, TX)

With the loss, Valley Mills drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 2A-1 Region II District 8 test on Friday, October 13. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-5. Bruceville-Eddy lost 61-6 in their recent league test against Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX)
