South Dakota High School Football - Roosevelt knocked off by Yankton
October 6, 2023: Yankton, SD 57078 Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders (Sioux Falls, SD), 27-14 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Yankton improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Bucks/Gazelles travel to Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD) to battle the Golden Eagles in a Eastern South Dakota - AA test on Friday, October 13. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-3. Aberdeen Central won 13-0 in their recent league test against Brookings (Brookings, SD)
With the loss, Roosevelt drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Rough riders travel to Stevens (Rapid City, SD) to battle the Raiders in a Eastern South Dakota - AAA test on Friday, October 13. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-6. Stevens lost 14-0 in their recent league test against Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD)
