California High School Football - Modesto sneaks past Downey
October 6, 2023: Modesto, CA 95355 The Modesto Panthers football team scored 21 points and held the host Downey Knights to 14 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Gregori (Modesto, CA). The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Gregori was tipped by Enochs (Modesto, CA), 20-7, in a league challenge.
The Knights now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host Turlock for a challenge on Friday, October 13. Downey will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 46-24 league win over Pitman (Turlock, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-2.
