Maine High School Soccer - Poland nudges Oak Hill
October 6, 2023: Sabattus, ME 04280 Poland Knights (Poland, ME) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Oak Hill Raiders (Sabattus, ME), 3-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Knights confront the Cape Elizabeth Capers (Cape Elizabeth, ME) in a Class B - South challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Poland will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Capers enter the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Waynflete (Portland, ME).
The Raiders now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maranacook for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 10. Oak Hill will confront a Black Bears team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Wells (Wells, ME). The Black Bears record now stands at 0-10.
