The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Northern Potter Panthers (Ulysses, PA) and the visiting Cowanesque Valley Indians (Westfield, PA), saw Northern Potter's volleyball squad beat Cowanesque Valley by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Northern Potter upgrades its record to 5-10 on the year. The Panthers travel to Oswayo Valley (Shinglehouse, PA) to play the Green Wave in a Northern Tier - West bout on Monday, October 9. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 14-3. Oswayo Valley won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Port Allegany (Port Allegany, PA)
