October 6, 2023: Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91737 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA) and the host Los Osos Grizzlies (Rancho Cucamonga, CA), saw El Capitan's volleyball squad beat Los Osos by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, El Capitan upgrades its record to 19-9 on the year. The Gauchos travel to Centennial (Corona, CA) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Friday, October 6. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Centennial lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA)
The Grizzlies now own a 4-21 record. They play next when they host Etiwanda for a Baseline bout on Tuesday, October 10. Los Osos will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Upland (Upland, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 19-7.
