October 6, 2023: Glendale, CA 91205 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Glendale Nitros (Glendale, CA) and the visiting Hawkins Hawks (Los Angeles, CA), saw Glendale's volleyball squad beat Hawkins by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Glendale upgrades its record to 21-6 on the year. The Nitros travel to Mendez (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 19-5. Mendez won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Robert F. Kennedy Community (Los Angeles, CA)
The Hawks now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to King/Drew for a Coliseum bout on Monday, October 9. Hawkins will play a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Mendez (Los Angeles, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 8-3.
