California High School Volleyball - Sotomayor routed by WISH Academy
October 6, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90065 The Sotomayor Wolves volleyball team (Los Angeles, CA), was dropped 3-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting WISH Academy Owls (Los Angeles, CA)
The Owls (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Animo Watts (Los Angeles, CA). The Warriors enter the Ocean challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, Animo Watts was dropped by Math & Science College Preparatory (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wolves clash with the Maywood Academy Nighthawks (Maywood, CA) in a Southern battle, on Monday, October 9. Sotomayor will attempt to advance on its 7-12 season record. The Nighthawks come into the battle with a 2-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Marquez (Huntington Park, CA).
