With the win, Miller Grove advances its record to 1-3 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA) to encounter the Black Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 8. The Black Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Hornets now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Luella for a D3 Area 4 contest on Thursday, October 16. Hampton will battle a Lions squad coming off a 13-6 non-league win over Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA). The Lions record now stands at 3-1.
