October 6, 2025: Sugar Hill, GA 30518 The crowd at Monday's non-league contest between the Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Eagles (Marietta, GA) and the host Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA), witnessed Mt. Bethel Christian Academy's flag football squad edge Lanier by a tally of 13-6.
The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Salem (Conyers, GA). The Seminoles go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Salem was tipped by Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA), 32-0, in a non-league bout.
The Longhorns now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Cedar Shoals for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 7. Lanier will encounter a Jaguars team coming off a 46-0 non-league win over Morgan County (Madison, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-0.
