Illinois High School Volleyball - Morrison tips Newman Central Catholic
October 6, 2025: Morrison, IL 61270 In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Morrison Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Newman Central Catholic Comets.
The Mustangs (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Milledgeville (Milledgeville, IL). The Missiles enter the challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Milledgeville Galena (Galena, IL), 1-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Comets meet the Mendota Trojans (Mendota, IL) in a challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Newman Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Somonauk (Somonauk, IL).
