The crowd at Monday's non-league contest between the Union Wildcats (Union, MO) and the visiting Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights (St. Louis, MO), saw Union's softball squad nip Incarnate Word Academy by a score of 7-4.

With the triumph, Union improves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Warrenton (Warrenton, MO) to face the Warriors in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 7. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 0-7.

In their next game, the Red Knights battle the Westminster Christian Wildcats (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 9. Incarnate Word Academy will attempt to better on its 11-10 season record. The Wildcats go into the match with a 12-6 record after their 11-0 non-league win over St. Joseph's Academy (St. Louis, MO).
