In Monday's league challenge, the host Hartford Hurricanes volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds.

The Hurricanes (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Randolph (Randolph, VT). The Ghosts go into the Division 2 test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Randolph achieved victory over Vermont Commons (South Burlington, VT), 3-0, in a league test.

The Thunderbirds now own a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Enosburg Falls for a Division 2 challenge on Wednesday, October 8. Missisquoi Valley will meet a Hornets team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Colchester (Colchester, VT). The Hornets record now stands at 10-2.
