Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Tri-Point Chargers (Cullom, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lexington improves its record to 16-6 on the season. The Minutemen travel to Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL) to encounter the Chiefs in a Heart of Illinois test on Tuesday, October 7. The Chiefs go into the test with a record of 13-13. Deer Creek-Mackinaw won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL)

The Chargers now own a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Armstrong for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 7. Tri-Point will meet a Trojans team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 13-9.
