In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Lyman Raiders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Stanley County Buffalos.

The Raiders (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Kadoka (Kadoka, SD). The Kougars come into the non-league challenge with a 16-6 record. In their last challenge, Kadoka beat Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Buffalos face the Colome Cowboys (Colome, SD) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 9. Stanley County will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Cowboys go into the test with a 1-18 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD).
