The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN) and the visiting Blaine Bengals (Blaine, MN), observed Centennial's football squad thwart Blaine by a tally of 26-14.

The Cougars now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Minnetonka for a Metro - Gold North contest on Friday, October 15. Centennial will play a Skippers squad coming off a 41-8 league win over Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN). The Skippers record now stands at 5-1.
