The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX) and the visiting Willis Wildkats (Willis, TX), observed The Woodlands's football squad bounce Willis by a count of 43-10.

The Highlanders now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Ridge for a 6A Region II District 13 contest on Friday, October 15. The Woodlands will encounter a War Eagles squad coming off a 44-41 league loss to Conroe (Conroe, TX). The War Eagles record now stands at 1-5.

Coming up next, the Wildkats encounter the College Park Cavaliers (The Woodlands, TX) in a 6A Region II District 13 contest, on Friday, October 15. Willis will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 5-1 record after their 35-21 league win over Grand Oaks (Spring, TX).
