Washington, DC High School Soccer - Bishop McNamara knocks off Archbishop Carroll
October 7, 2021: Washington, DC 20017 Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team overwhelm the host Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC), 12-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs confront the St. Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) in a Washington Catholic (WCAC) challenge, on Tuesday, October 12. Bishop McNamara will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Gonzaga (Washington, DC).
The Lions now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Washington Latin Public Charter School for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 9. Archbishop Carroll will confront a Lions team coming off a 2-1 league loss to BASIS (Washington, DC). The Lions record now stands at 3-3.
