Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Akins Eagles (Austin, TX), 67-6 in a league test.

With the triumph, Dripping Springs improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host Westlake (Austin, TX) to battle the Chaparrals in a 6A Region IV District 26 test on Friday, October 14. The Chaparrals come into the test with a record of 6-0. Westlake won 66-17 in their recent league test against Anderson (Austin, TX)

With the loss, Akins drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Austin (Austin, TX) to battle the Maroons in a 6A Region IV District 26 test on Thursday, October 13. The Maroons come into the test with a record of 1-5. Austin lost 20-13 in their recent league test against Johnson (Buda, TX)
