The South Lafourche Tarpons football team (Galliano, LA), was ripped 64-28 in Friday's league challenge with the host Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA)

The Mustangs (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA). The Patriots come into the 4A District 7 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, A.J. Ellender trounced Terrebonne (Houma, LA), 39-29, in a non-league challenge.

The Tarpons now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Morgan City for a 4A District 7 challenge on Friday, October 14. South Lafourche will meet a Tigers team coming off a 48-16 league loss to Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.
