October 7, 2022: Hyannis, MA 02601 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Barnstable Red Hawks (Hyannis, MA) and the visiting New Bedford Whalers (New Bedford, MA), observed Barnstable's football squad defeat New Bedford by a count of 20-6.
The Red Hawks now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Mansfield for a non-league outing on Friday, October 14. Barnstable will confront a Hornets team coming off a 24-14 non-league win over Haverford (Havertown, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 4-1.
