The PURE Academy football team (Memphis, TN), was beaten 35-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Briarcrest Christian Saints (Eads, TN)

The Saints (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Benedict at Auburndale (Cordova, TN). The Eagles come into the Division II-AAA West challenge with a 1-6 record.

The now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lipscomb Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 14. PURE Academy will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 42-0 non-league win over Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-0.
