October 7, 2022: Ona, WV 25545 In Friday's league match, the host Cabell Midland Knights football squad scored a close 21-17 victory over the Spring Valley Timberwolves .
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV) in a Mountain State match, on Friday, October 14. Cabell Midland will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Redskins enter the match with a 5-1 record after their 49-13 non-league win over Princeton (Princeton, WV).
The Timberwolves (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Capital (Charleston, WV). The Cougars enter the Mountain State match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Capital was nudged by Riverside (Belle, WV), 84-6, in a league match.
