The Union Farmers football squad scored 41 points and limited the visiting Elizabeth Minutemen to 7 in the Farmers league win on Friday.

The Farmers now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Phillipsburg for a Big Central - American Silver battle on Friday, October 14. Union will play a Stateliners squad coming off a 28-13 league win over Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ). The Stateliners record now stands at 6-0.

Coming up next, the Minutemen play the Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers (Bridgewater, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 15. Elizabeth will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 28-13 league loss to Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ).
