California High School Football - Helix drops to Mission Viejo

October 7, 2022: Mission Viejo, CA 92691

In Friday's non-league game, the Mission Viejo Diablos (Mission Viejo, CA) football team knocked off the visiting Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), by a final score of 55-27.

The Diablos (6-1) will now prepare for their game against San Clemente (San Clemente, CA). The Tritons come into the South Coast game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, San Clemente toppled Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA), 35-0, in a non-league game.

The Highlanders now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Steele Canyon for a Grossmont - Hills game on Friday, October 14. Helix will battle a Cougars team coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to San Clemente (San Clemente, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-6.
