Pennsylvania High School Football - Seneca Valley prevails Hempfield Area

October 7, 2022: Harmony, PA 16037

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Seneca Valley Raiders (Harmony, PA) and the visiting Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA), observed Seneca Valley's football squad defeat Hempfield Area by a margin of 42-12.

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the North Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 14. Seneca Valley will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 3-4 record after their 35-23 league win over Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA).

The Spartans (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA). The Panthers enter the WPIAL AAAAA Big East bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Franklin Regional thwarted Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA), 35-0, in a league bout.
