October 7, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87108 Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), 56-7 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Highland improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host Belen (Belen, NM) to confront the Eagles in a 5A District 1/5 test on Thursday, October 13. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-6. Belen lost 51-14 in their recent non-league test against Goddard (Roswell, NM)
With the loss, Pojoaque Valley drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Elks/elkettes host Moriarty (Moriarty, NM) to confront the Pintos in a 4A District 2 test on Friday, October 14. The Pintos come into the test with a record of 5-2. Moriarty won 13-0 in their recent non-league test against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM)
