In Friday's league match, the visiting Jacksonville Crimsons football squad scored a good 43-20 victory over the MacArthur Generals.

In their next game, the Crimsons clash with the Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL) in a Central State Eight match, on Friday, October 14. Jacksonville will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Rockets enter the match with a 6-1 record after their 56-14 league win over Normal University (Normal, IL).
