In Friday's league match, the visiting Riverside Vikings football squad scored a good 41-13 victory over the Lackawanna Trail Lions.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Susquehanna Sabers (Susquehanna, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 14. Riverside will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Sabers enter the match with a 3-4 record after their 42-13 league loss to Old Forge (Old Forge, PA).
